YOGA FOR ADULTS

In Iyengar Yoga asana there are three levels of difficulty starting with beginner, intermediate, and advanced. There is a class for anyone regardless of your level of experience. As you progress through the levels and gain more experience and knowledge yoga will gradually change the quality of your life by realizing less mood swings, gaining more muscle, stronger core, having more energy, becoming more flexible, and less joint pain over time.

To achieve maximum benefits from your yoga classes the asanas must be done correctly every time, no short cuts. But, what if you cannot touch your toes? What if you’re not flexible at all? Iyengar has solved this problem for you. We use all kinds of props such as bricks, belts, bolster, chairs, and blankets to gradually correct any deficiencies in posture and then as you progress and improve you will gradually disregard the props which are no longer needed.

YOGA FOR KIDS

Now is the perfect time to start yoga with your child. No need to drop off your child for babysitting while you attend yoga class. Bring your child with you in our special program for Mommy and Me. It’s about having fun while learning something new. Rest assured that we do have ground rules for kids and usually they listen and follow directions better than the adults.
